Hanoi conducts specialized inventory of land management and use of golf courses and airports

Accordingly, land inventory and mapping of current land use status are carried out throughout the city at all administrative levels, in which communes, wards and towns (commune level) are the basic units implementing land inventory. The results of the 2024 land inventory at the commune level are the basis for synthesizing land inventory data and mapping current land use status at the district and city levels.

There are 2 subjects that will be subject to land inventory. For the 2024 periodic land inventory, it includes the area of land types, land users, subjects assigned by the State for management, and for the general area according to the regulations of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

Thematic inventory subjects include: Management and land use of golf courses; airports; landslide and sedimentation areas; land originating from agricultural and forestry farms and other local topics as a basis for implementing measures to strengthen management and improve land use efficiency for these types of land.

Commune-level People's Committees shall implement land inventory, prepare land use status maps for 2024, complete and submit a report to the District-level People's Committee before March 15, 2025. District-level People's Committees shall implement land inventory, prepare land use status maps for 2024, complete and submit a report to the City People's Committee before May 1, 2025. City-level People's Committees shall complete and submit a report to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment before June 30, 2025.

The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to organize propaganda, training, and professional guidance for the forces participating in the implementation; organize implementation, guide, urge, and inspect districts, towns, and related units to implement this plan and advise the City People's Committee to report to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on the results of land inventory and mapping of current land use status in 2024 according to regulations. In addition, carry out specialized land inventory according to the approved plan.

The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities shall establish a Steering Committee for land inventory and prepare a map of the current status in 2024 at the district level; direct the People's Committees of communes to develop a plan for land inventory in 2024 of the locality; and be responsible for coordinating with military and police units located in their localities to determine the land use boundaries of the People's Armed Forces and security units. At the same time, carry out specialized land inventories according to the approved plan.
