Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen has just signed Decision No. 739/QD-UBND approving the investment policy for the project to renovate and upgrade Ang Thuong irrigation pumping station in Le Thanh commune (My Duc district).
After completion, Ang Thuong Pumping Station will have a total design capacity of 2.78m3/s, capable of ensuring irrigation for 850.11 hectares of agricultural land in My Duc district.
In addition to ensuring proactive irrigation for 850.11 hectares, the project aims to serve the construction of specialized rice fields, improve working conditions and increase the value of agricultural production, while creating a landscape for My Duc district.
The project has a total investment of more than 69 billion VND from the Hanoi City budget. The project implementation period is from 2026 to 2028. This is a group C project invested by the People's Committee of My Duc district.
The Hanoi People's Committee assigned My Duc district to take the lead and coordinate with relevant agencies to complete the Feasibility Study Report and submit it to competent authorities to decide on project investment in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Public Investment and related laws.
The Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development, Planning and Investment, Finance, Transport, Architecture Planning, Natural Resources and Environment, based on their assigned functions and tasks, inspect, guide, and coordinate with investors during the project implementation process.
