Focusing on developing industrial clusters in the district has contributed to shifting Duc Linh's economy towards gradually increasing the proportion of industrial, trade and service sectors and contributing to creating jobs for local workers...
Up to now, in the whole province, 27/36 industrial clusters have been established according to the planning, of which 14/36 industrial clusters have infrastructure investors who are enterprises. In Duc Linh district alone, 7 industrial clusters have been promoted to be established, including 3 clusters managed by the State and 4 clusters inviting enterprises to participate in technical infrastructure investment. For industrial clusters managed by infrastructure investors, most of them have been actively and synchronously implementing construction items, creating conditions to attract secondary projects to fill in.
As for Nam Ha Industrial Cluster, after completing the infrastructure, the investor DONA ORIENT HOLDINGS LIMITED signed a contract to lease the entire industrial land area and started building the factory. Meanwhile, Nam Ha 2 Industrial Cluster currently has Nam Ha Concrete Factory of Nam Ha - Duc Linh Company Limited which has been invested in and completed construction and put into operation since 2021. Meanwhile, Dong Ha Industrial Cluster has initially attracted 8 secondary projects that are progressing, including the machinery and equipment manufacturing factory of Intermac Company Limited, the food packaging factory of Eul Sung VINA Company Limited, the auto parts manufacturing project of AISL VINA Company Limited, etc.
Returning to Duc Linh in recent days, we heard a lively story about recruiting workers to work at Nam Ha Vietnam Shoes Company Limited (in Nam Ha Industrial Cluster - Dong Ha Commune, Duc Linh District). Because this project has completed the construction of a factory specializing in the production of sports shoes for export to many markets around the world, accordingly, in phase 1 with an area of more than 15 hectares, there is a need to recruit about 7,000 workers... Talking to us, Mr. Ngo Thanh San - General Director of Nam Ha Vietnam Shoes Company Limited said: It is expected that next month the production line will be transferred to the factory for assembly, by October 2023, it will start recruiting workers and officially go into operation at the end of the year. However, initially, the company will recruit and train about 1,000 workers to meet the requirements of producing export shoes, with priority given to local people. In the coming years, the enterprise will continue to gradually recruit workers to 7,000 people as planned in phase 1, while considering investing in expanding phase 2 with more factories that can create jobs for about 20,000 workers in Duc Linh and neighboring areas... It is known that when working here, in addition to the average salary of 7 million VND/month or more, workers are also guaranteed all the prescribed regimes to feel secure in their long-term commitment to the enterprise. In addition to a number of industrial clusters managed by infrastructure investors, in recent times, in clusters managed by the State (including Ham Soi - Vo Xu, Me Pu, Sung Nhon), dozens of facilities and projects have been invested. If we pay attention to removing difficulties and obstacles and have a mechanism to support infrastructure investment, these industrial clusters will soon complete technical infrastructure, increase the attraction of secondary projects to effectively use land funds...
Aiming to promote the potential and advantages of industry, the District People's Committee has also reviewed and developed a plan to develop industrial clusters in Duc Linh for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 to integrate into the provincial planning. Accordingly, by 2030, the locality proposed to plan and establish 9 industrial clusters with a total area of 497.16 hectares, and by 2050, strive to achieve 12 industrial clusters with an area of 706.5 hectares. Along with the attention to urging investors to speed up progress to complete infrastructure as well as facilitate foreign traffic, Duc Linh is showing the attraction of large-scale secondary projects in industrial clusters. Thereby, it not only contributes to shifting the district's economy towards gradually increasing the proportion of industrial, trade and service sectors, but also creates many jobs in a professional environment with stable income for workers here.
