Introducing trade defense measures in international integration

Delegates attending the workshop introduced trade defense measures.

Attending the workshop were Mr. Trinh Anh Tuan, Director of the Department of Trade Defense, and 100 delegates representing leaders and experts from departments and branches that are members of the subcommittee on international economic integration; economic departments, economic - infrastructure departments of districts, towns and cities; and students of Dien Bien College of Economics and Technology.

At the workshop, the Trade Defense Department's reporter introduced an overview of the content of trade defense measures and legal regulations on trade defense measures; the practice of using trade defense measures in Vietnam with imported goods to protect the manufacturing industry; responding to trade defense cases, evasion of trade defense measures and origin fraud investigated by foreign countries with Vietnam's export goods and some related issues.

The workshop is an opportunity for state management agencies, relevant units, businesses and students of economics and trade in the province to better understand trade defense measures and how to apply and implement them effectively, in accordance with international commitments. Enhance understanding and take advantage of incentives from free trade agreements in the context of deep international economic integration, thereby gradually improving the competitiveness of the locality.
