Opening of a display point to introduce and sell Ocop products, typical rural industrial products

In 2023, the whole province has 9/10 districts, towns and cities with industrial production facilities participating in the vote with 50 products and product sets of 34 industrial production facilities. Of which, 42 products and product sets belong to the group of agricultural, forestry, fishery and food processing products; 8 products belong to the group of handicraft products . Many products have been certified with 3 and 4 stars of the One Commune One Product Program. The voting council selected 17 products to recognize typical rural industrial products in 2023, such as: Cordyceps, dong vermicelli, honey, Tam Sang Dien Bien rice, Muong Ang Shan Tuyet tea, Ha Chung pure ground coffee, smoked buffalo meat, hawthorn, HK5, HK10, HK15 coffee, dried macadamia, Thanh Tra leaves - Tua Chua ancient Shan Tuyet green tea...

The display point introduces and sells Ocop products, agricultural products, and regional specialties of Dien Bien province, attracting a large number of people and tourists to visit and shop.

On this occasion, the Department of Industry and Trade organized a ribbon cutting ceremony to inaugurate the Ocop product display and sales point, agricultural products, and regional specialties with a construction area of ^​​295m2 and a total investment of 3 billion VND. The display and introduction point includes more than 200 Ocop products, agricultural products, and regional specialties of 28 entities of Dien Bien province; 120 products of 40 entities from several provinces and cities nationwide.
