Nghe An press conference March 2024: Strengthening propaganda on management, protection and promotion of cultural and historical values

On the afternoon of March 4, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department of Information and Communications, and the Provincial Journalists Association jointly organized the March 2024 Press Conference.

In January and February 2024, press agencies reported on the visits and working activities of Central leaders in Nghe An; activities of provincial leaders; key contents at regular meetings of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Provincial People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee were updated promptly and fully by press and radio agencies.

The publications of the Spring newspapers of the press agencies have focused on reflecting the exciting, fresh atmosphere and belief in the country and homeland firmly on the path of innovation, integration and development, prosperity and well-being. The articles and programs are invested in both content and form, with deep thoughts and high orientation.

Press agencies have many news, articles, and images reporting on the 2024 military enlistment ceremony in the province; noting that the organization was directed by Party committees and authorities at all levels, ensuring strictness, thoughtfulness, solemnity, speed, neatness, and high educational value.

In the socio-economic field, press agencies have had many articles and programs with multi-dimensional perspectives that have deeply mentioned and comprehensively evaluated the achieved results; informed and promoted prominent positive information in the fields of culture, arts, cultural activities, and spring festivals.

In addition, some press agencies and social networking sites have reported on the suspected embezzlement of donation money at Ong Hoang Muoi Temple (Hung Nguyen).

Regarding the propaganda orientation in the coming time, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Thi Thu Huong requested press agencies to pay special attention to and promote information and propaganda on the implementation of Action Program No. 68 dated November 11, 2023 on implementing Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW dated July 18, 2023 of the Politburo on building and developing Nghe An province to 2030, with a vision to 2045; Strengthen information and propaganda to highlight the results and achievements in all fields of the 3 years of implementing the 19th Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

Propaganda to create consensus among officials and people on the Project on administrative unit arrangement; the implementation of the Project on expanding administrative boundaries and urban space of Vinh city to competent authorities. Strengthen propaganda on Party building and political system building in 2024; Actively promote potentials and advantages; promote cultural heritages, scenic spots, culinary culture, and practical experiences of Nghe An associated with tourism and festivals to attract domestic and international tourists to visit.
