HAGL Club will apply for a visa and provide a plane ticket for Martin to return home as soon as possible."

Announcement of HAGL Club

Previously, on October 24, 2024, the International Football Federation (FIFA) issued document No. FDD-19714 to HAGL Club and forwarded to VFF regarding the application of the penalty of banning player registration for HAGL Club regarding the responsibility to implement the decision on the dispute between HAGL Club and player Martin Dzilah.

Accordingly, the penalty of "banning the registration of new players, domestically and internationally" is applied to HAGL Club from the time FIFA issued the above document.

Martin Dzilah is a player of HAGL Club in the 2023-2024 season but suffered a knee injury and agreed with the mountain town team to terminate the contract early for $20,000, but then he sued FIFA because he said he had not received the money.

Due to the delay in updating, HAGL Club was unable to send FIFA evidence proving that it had paid the amount of 20,000 USD to Martin Dzilah within the prescribed time, until the judge ordered it to transfer 29,000 USD to the player within 45 days, otherwise it would receive a penalty from FIFA.

After completing the legal dispute with foreign players, the mountain town team is waiting for FIFA to lift the transfer ban to continue recruiting players.

In V-League 2024 - 2025, HAGL has lost 3 out of the last 4 matches and dropped to the middle of the table. At 5:00 p.m. today (January 12), coach Vu Tien Thanh and his team will face Binh Phuoc at home in the round of 16 of the National Cup.
