Speaking at the opening of the press conference, Mr. Tran Ngoc Ha, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Law Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the award - said that Tram Tau - Ta Xua is one of the poorest districts in Yen Bai province, the situation of the people there is extremely difficult, while this is a land with great potential for tourism development.

According to Mr. Tran Ngoc Ha, this is the first mountain climbing competition for the press, gathering hundreds of journalists and reporters from press agencies across the country, from central to local levels. Through the mountain climbing competition, the Organizing Committee hopes to spread the beautiful image of the beautiful landscape, land and people of Vietnam to develop tourism in Tram Tau district and Yen Bai province.
The Mountaineering Competition is also a place to strengthen the solidarity, dedication and creativity of the press with many valuable press works on tourism, economic development associated with regional advantages. This is also an opportunity to create motivation, raise awareness about health training, promote the Mountaineering sport movement in Vietnam today.

By participating in the tournament, journalists will have the opportunity to experience tourism, trekking and mountain climbing to improve their health. At the same time, the Organizing Committee hopes to use the voices of journalists to help one of the poorest districts in Yen Bai province develop its economy and tourism.
According to information from the Organizing Committee, all athletes participating in the tournament will be supported by the Organizing Committee with travel and accommodation expenses and will be provided with health insurance. Ensuring the safety of the athletes is a top priority.
To ensure the safety of the climb, the organizers have come up with solutions to improve communication by using walkie-talkies so that athletes can participate with peace of mind. In addition, the 10km route is equipped with 5 medical stations, signs, etc. The tournament has about 100 athletes participating, but 60-70 people are involved in service work and ensuring safety.
Before the climbing competition, the organizers have recommendations for athletes to prepare sports shoes, personal medicine, and check their health. They should not drink alcohol before climbing... to have the best physical strength for the long journey ahead.
