Immediately, the unit coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police and Rescue Police, and the ward police to search for the tourists.

At this time, the weather in the Son Tra peninsula area was rainy, the terrain was steep and slippery, making search and rescue work difficult.

At 9:30 p.m. the same day, authorities found two female tourists in the Ghenh Bang area and brought them to a safe location.

Two female tourists HTH and CTT (both 23 years old, residing in Uong Bi City, Quang Ninh) said they came to this area to visit and take photos. However, because they were too engrossed in taking photos, when they left, it was already dark and they were unfamiliar with the terrain, so they got lost.

The Son Tra Peninsula has complex terrain. Although local authorities have put up warning signs to warn tourists, many people have still ignored the danger and organized backpacking trips here, leading to many accidents.
