The 2023 Ninh Thuan Provincial Open Table Tennis Tournament - Ninh Thuan Newspaper Cup is a traditional tournament held on the occasion of the anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21) every year. This year's tournament has 120 athletes from 18 clubs and units registered to participate. The registration subjects are expanded, athletes register to participate according to agencies, units and table tennis clubs operating in the province. In addition, in order to improve the level of the tournament and the competitiveness of the competition, this year the Organizing Committee has decided to expand to athletes in Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong and Binh Thuan provinces to compete in 2 events: Mixed Team and Advanced Men's Singles. Through the registration list, the tournament gathers most of the highest level players of the table tennis community in the whole province, so it is assessed to have good professional quality, high competitiveness, enthusiastic and noble competitive spirit.
The Organizing Committee draws lots and divides the competition groups for the 2023 Ninh Thuan Newspaper Open Table Tennis Tournament.
The tournament has 11 competition events, including: Mixed Team; 4 grassroots events for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and armed forces: Men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, mixed-women doubles; 4 expanded grassroots events: Men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, mixed-women doubles and 2 advanced events: Men's singles and women's singles. The tournament opens at 7:30 a.m. on June 19, and will last for 3 days (June 19 to 21, 2023) at the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center.
