Northern region

The price of live pigs today (January 7, 2025) in the Northern region continues to record stability in the provinces and cities. Currently, the price of live pigs in this region is fluctuating between 67,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.

Of which, Hanoi and Bac Giang still maintain the highest live pig price in the country at 69,000 VND/kg. Ninh Binh has the lowest live pig price in the region at 67,000 VND/kg. The remaining localities in the region are trading live pig prices at 68,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region

Similarly, the price of live pigs today (January 7, 2025) in the Central Highlands region did not record any price fluctuations in the provinces and cities.

Currently, the price of live pigs in the Central Highlands region fluctuates between 66,000 - 69,000 VND/kg. In particular, Lam Dong province still maintains the highest price of live pigs in the region at 69,000 VND/kg.

Next, Thanh Hoa, Binh Thuan, and Dak Lak provinces increased the purchase price to 68,000 VND/kg. The remaining provinces had live pig prices ranging from 66,000 - 67,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

Along with the above two regions, the price of live pigs in the Southern region today (January 7, 2025) also recorded a price stagnation after many days of slight price increases in some provinces and cities.

Currently, the price of live pigs in the Southern region is fluctuating between 66,000 and 69,000 VND/kg. Of which, Dong Nai and Tay Ninh provinces have the highest price of live pigs in the region, both reaching 69,000 VND/kg. An Giang, Hau Giang, Bac Lieu and Soc Trang provinces have the lowest price in the region at 66,000 VND/kg. Other provinces have prices ranging from 67,000 VND to 68,000 VND/kg.

In general, the live hog market today has slowed down in the whole country, after many days of slight price fluctuations in the Southern region. Survey shows that live hogs nationwide are being traded in the range of 66,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.
