Extension of implementation time for construction package of resettlement area in Tra Mai

This is a project to build resettlement areas to evacuate people from disaster-hit and especially disadvantaged areas in the province in the period 2016 - 2020.

Accordingly, after reviewing the proposal of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the reports of the Department of Construction on supplementing the contract for the construction package of the resettlement area of ​​village 3, the Provincial People's Committee agreed in principle to supplement the volume of the embankment section from the N1 junction towards the road to Tra Vinh commune, the water collection ditch into the construction contract and extend the implementation time of the construction contract for the construction package of the resettlement area of ​​village 3.

At the same time, the Department of Construction is required to take full responsibility for the results of the inspection, evaluation and the content of the proposal to the Provincial People's Committee for implementation.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (project investor) is responsible for completing all relevant documents and procedures to ensure strict implementation in accordance with legal regulations; negotiating and signing appendices on supplementing the construction contract and extending the construction contract implementation period with the construction contractor for the above content, ensuring that the total investment and project implementation period approved by the Provincial People's Committee do not exceed; urgently completing the construction, accepting and handing over the project for use, promoting investment efficiency.

The Provincial People's Committee requests the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Provincial Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Agricultural and Rural Development Works (project management consulting unit) to seriously review and draw lessons from relevant collectives and individuals under their management for not reporting, and request the investment decision maker to consider and approve before implementing the adjustment of the construction contract for the resettlement area construction package of village 3.

The construction project of the resettlement area construction package in village 3 has a total investment of nearly 4 billion VND, and is expected to be completed before June 30, 2024.
