DNO - On the morning of April 20, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches coordinated with units to organize the activity "Clean up Son Tra - For a green Son Tra" No. 1 in 2024 with the participation of nearly 700 volunteers.

This is an activity in response to the program "Opening Da Nang beach tourism season" held annually in April, while promoting activities to protect the environment and wildlife on Earth Day April 22 and World Environment Day June 5.
“Clean up Son Tra - For a Green Son Tra” is an annual garbage collection and environmental cleaning activity organized by the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches, in coordination with units, clubs, teams and groups in the city.
The first program was implemented in 2011 with about 50 volunteers. Over the years, the program has attracted a large number of volunteers to join in cleaning and preserving the green color of Son Tra peninsula.

In the morning, volunteers picked up trash at the intersection of Le Van Luong, Ho Xanh, Bai Chay, the road from Ho Xanh to Linh Ung Pagoda, Bai Nam, Suoi Da branch road...
This is a series of propaganda activities to raise public awareness about environmental protection, mobilizing people and tourists to participate in biodiversity conservation and wildlife protection movements on Son Tra peninsula.
Building and promoting the image of green tourism in Son Tra peninsula with the message "Son Tra Peninsula - Green destination".
In addition to picking up trash and cleaning the environment, the program "Clean up Son Tra - For a green Son Tra" cooperates with Viet An Group Corporation to plant trees; coordinates with the Center for Biodiversity Conservation of Green Vietnam to organize a photo exhibition "Protecting wildlife"; propagates the harmful effects of feeding wildlife, the role and importance of wildlife to the ecosystem in Son Tra peninsula.
