FLC received 28 "warrants" to freeze accounts and enforce tax debt collection for 2 consecutive days

FLC Group Joint Stock Company (stock code: FLC) announced that on June 27, the company received 8 decisions on enforcement of administrative decisions on tax management from the Tax Department of Sam Son - Quang Xuong City ( Thanh Hoa ).

The amount of money to be enforced is 238.65 billion VND, of which land use fee is 191.58 billion VND; non- agricultural land use tax totals more than 2 billion VND, late payment fee is approximately 45 billion VND.

In these decisions, the Sam Son - Quang Xuong Regional Tax Department requested 8 banks/bank branches to freeze accounts for 238.65 billion VND to deposit into account number 7111 of Sam Son City - Sam Son - Quang Xuong Regional Tax Department opened at the State Treasury of Sam Son City, Thanh Hoa province.

In case the amount in FLC's account is less than the amount in the enforcement decision, the bank must still deduct the remaining amount after deducting the minimum balance to maintain the account and continue to monitor and deduct the amount arising in the account of the taxpayer, which is FLC Group, during the effective period of the decision.

The banks required to freeze FLC's accounts include: VP Bank - Hanoi Branch, VIB - District 1 Branch, HCMC; OCB - Hanoi Branch; Agribank - Tay Do Branch; Vietcombank - Thanh Hoa Branch; Vietcombank - Vinh Phuc Branch; VietinBank - Thanh Hoa Branch; BIDV - Thanh Xuan Branch, Hanoi.

Just one day later, on June 28, FLC continued to receive 20 more decisions from the Hanoi Tax Department dated June 24, also with the content of enforcing tax administrative decisions by withdrawing money from the accounts of the subjects of enforcement.

The total amount of money to be enforced is 95.31 billion VND, including personal income tax, corporate income tax, late tax payment, fines, and late payment penalties.

FLC had 89 accounts opened at 20 banks/bank branches frozen, including: Agribank (5 accounts), Bao Viet (6 accounts); LP Bank (1 account); VietinBank (6 accounts); PVComBank (3 accounts); BIDV (27 accounts); Maritime Bank (4 accounts); Techcombank (1 account); Vietcombank (6 accounts); MBBank (4 accounts); NCB (12 accounts); VIB (1 account); Sacombank (1 account); PG Bank (1 account); TPBank (1 account); VPBank (1 account); VietBank (5 accounts); Eximbank (1 account); OCB - Hanoi Branch (1 account); Standard Chartered (Vietnam) - 2 accounts.
