In the latest announcement by Great Place To Work, F88 Business Joint Stock Company - owner of the F88 convenience financial store chain - was recognized as one of the Excellent Workplaces in 2024.
The announcement by Great Place To Work (GPTW) is based on the results of a survey on employee satisfaction of organizations and businesses interested in building internal cultural values. Accordingly, F88 received 91% positive reviews, far exceeding the average of 53% of a global business. In particular, F88 achieved 94% positive points for care and concern for employees; 93% for fairness and 91% for support from colleagues as well as guidance from the management team.
Since 2013, GPTW has organized an annual survey program and published a list of businesses with excellent working environments in many countries, including Vietnam. The purpose of the survey is to help businesses recognize the level of employee satisfaction with the values and cultural identity of the unit, thereby being able to best promote internal strengths. For employees, this is an opportunity to evaluate the place they are working. GPTW's methodology is based on the Trust Index© with a model focusing on 05 aspects: Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride and Camaraderie. Businesses with positive feedback on all 05 aspects will be recognized as places with a highly trustworthy working culture, creating a happy environment for all employees (Great workplace For All™).
For F88, becoming one of the excellent workplaces is a special milestone. Pioneering in the journey to standardize the quality of personal financial services for sub-prime customers in Vietnam, F88 always faces many difficulties, the biggest of which is industry prejudice. CEO Phung Anh Tuan once shared that in the early days of establishment, recruitment was a big challenge because out of 10 people who heard about this type of service, 9 people gave up their applications and did not apply. But up to now, F88 has built a team of more than 4,000 employees, ensuring the operation and development of more than 850 transaction offices nationwide. Mr. Pham Tran Long, Deputy General Director, summarized F88's operating structure as an inverted pyramid with the top of the pyramid at the bottom, meaning that the higher the leader's level, the more responsibility he has to support and create the best conditions for subordinates to complete their tasks.
