The change in GCS schedule was made after EVNNPC implemented the roadmap to modernize the electricity metering system (replacing mechanical meters with electronic meters with remote measurement) and digital transformation in the business and customer service sectors.
This change aims to support customers to conveniently control and monitor monthly electricity consumption, be proactive in paying electricity bills, and ensure that revenue accounting is consistent with costs in accordance with financial accounting regulations.
Ha Long City Electricity workers agreed with the customer to sign a memorandum of agreement and an additional contract appendix on changing the meter reading date with the customer.
EVNNPC affirms to ensure the rights of electricity customers when changing the GCS schedule. When calculating the electricity bill, the electricity usage of each step will be adjusted according to the actual number of days of electricity use in the meter reading period.
During the implementation process, the Power Companies will send information about the change in GCS schedule as well as instructions to each customer on how to calculate electricity bills in the month with the change in GCS date so that customers can understand and monitor the implementation.
