EQuest Group Receives ESG Impact Showcase Award for Sustainable Development Initiatives

AmCham's ESG Impact Showcase is an annual award by AmCham Vietnam to honor businesses and organizations in many different industries, based on assessment criteria on Environment, Society and Governance.

2023 is the second year Amcham Vietnam has awarded the ESG Impact Showcase award to EQuest Group.

For EQuest, the ESG Impact Showcase award is a recognition of the contributions of the corporation and its member units to initiatives promoting environmental protection activities, solutions that bring positive impacts to society, and governance strategies that ensure sustainable values ​​for Vietnam's education.

Some typical projects recognized by the award review board include: The project of teaching English through Math and Science for primary school students in a direct and online combination (iLink model) implemented by iSMART Education (a member of EQuest Group) in two districts: Mu Cang Chai (Yen Bai) and Nam Truc (Nam Dinh). After more than 1 year of implementation, the project has achieved impressive achievements such as: in Mu Cang Chai, the project has helped more than 6,500 students and teachers improve their English skills through Math and Science, 69.6% of Mu Cang Chai students completed the Science English program, 77.6% of students completed the Math English program with excellence. In Nam Truc, 90.5% of students completed the Science English program and 83.5% of students completed the Math English program. This result reflects a significant improvement in improving students' English skills.

The second project that EQuest has supported is the project of mental health education for students, building a School of Well-Being. More than 1,000 students, teachers, staff and parents of Alpha Education System have had access to school psychology services, and have supported the provision of mental health knowledge to thousands of students in public schools in the surrounding area. In July 2023, surpassing 744 primary and secondary schools in Asia, Alpha Education System became the champion (secondary level) of the Asia region in the "AIA Healthiest School" competition.

Foreign Language University awarded iSMART Education a certificate of assessment for the online and face-to-face English teaching model (iLINK model).

In addition to creating sustainable values ​​for education, EQuest also makes many contributions to environmental protection and community welfare through many meaningful and useful activities: Implementing the Green School project at educational institutions with many activities such as planting trees, integrating environmental protection awareness education into the curriculum; Organizing seminars for more than 5,000 employees, focusing on health, mental health and work-life balance; Cooperating with local People's Committees in Ho Chi Minh City, Nam Dinh and Ben Tre, supporting 150 disadvantaged households to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2023.
