Phuong Hoang Love Songs includes 12 songs by two late friends Nguyen Trung Cang and Le Huu Ha. On this occasion, Elvis Phuong also recalled memories of his time with the Phuong Hoang band.
"The Phoenix Band is my miracle"
Elvis Phuong wrote on his personal Facebook page: "When singing and recording these songs, I feel like I'm reliving unforgettable moments and memories with Ha, Cang and all the brothers of the Phuong Hoang band.
Even though time passes, even though we grow old, music is the most sincere voice that brings us back to our youth, our twenties.
"If there are great combinations in the world, then combining with the Phoenix band is a great thing for me," he said.
Phoenix Band consists of members: musicians Le Huu Ha, Nguyen Trung Cang, Nguyen Trung Vinh, Nhu Khiem, Elvis Phuong.
At first, the group also had Hoai Khanh (male voice) and Mai Hoa (female voice) but only for a short time. Later, Elvis Phuong joined and made a lasting impression.
Phoenix officially stopped working in mid-1975. After that, there were times when they reunited on stage, but they were very short-lived.
Phuong Hoang Music pioneered the movement of young Vietnamese music singing with their own compositions, after a long time specializing in covering international music.

In an interview with Tuoi Tre , musician Vo Thien Thanh once said "the band Phuong Hoang is a special, unique moment in Vietnamese music".
"Their music is a full streak. I see in it freedom, youthfulness imbued with philosophy, human fate and current events," the musician shared.
This is Elvis Phuong's third album of Phuong Hoang Love Songs , and is also the first product to be recorded, produced and officially released in Vietnam.
Elvis Phuong confided that he "is still passionate about the memories of his youth with his contemporaries, peers, and most importantly, the songs that have accompanied him throughout 63 years of singing."

The artist said that every time he sings, he always "feels like he's singing with Ha, Cang and the brothers in the old band".
In his eyes, "Ha is always smiling and enthusiastic, hugging everyone every time they meet."
As for Cang, he is "wandering, always letting his soul drift with the clouds and wind, but likes to talk about philosophy and enjoys new discoveries in art".
Talking about still singing songs by Le Huu Ha and Nguyen Trung Cang, Elvis Phuong said that not only did he feel it was suitable artistically, with new and youthful melodies at that time, but the philosophy through the lyrics of these two close friends was also closely linked to his life.
"Ha's lyrics express the deep feelings in my soul, the path that I always pursue. And Cang's songs are like a record of tragedies in which I played an important role," Elvis Phuong confided.
That is the reason why throughout his singing career, there has never been a show where Elvis Phuong did not sing and the audience did not request Phuong Hoang's songs.

Phoenix Love Song (2024) co-edited by Elvis Phuong and his wife, released by Phuong Nam Film.
The album was arranged by Minh Man, based on the original versions of previous recordings by the band Phuong Hoang.
The CD includes 12 songs: Love you, Still love you forever, Afternoon, Stubborn song, Take me into the universe, Passing dream, Look up at life, Look down at your feet, Black sun, Winter melodrama, Worrying afternoon in the dormitory and Separate song .
