The project construction site alone has a handover rate of over 97%. Ben Tre has handed over 100% of the site. Tien Giang's site handover rate is 94%.

Of which, the XL01 package of the DT870 expansion section still has 46 households that have not been handed over, 24 medium and low voltage power poles, and 1 110kV high voltage power pole. The new road section that needs to be treated for weak soil at the Xoai Hot bridgehead has been handed over for construction since March 15, 2024, and so far there are still 2 households (about 60m) stuck. The XL03 package of the approach bridge (P12 and P13 pillar area) still has 1 household and 4 medium voltage power poles stuck.

Regarding the Dai Ngai Bridge project on National Highway 60 connecting Tra Vinh and Soc Trang provinces, according to the Ministry of Transport, construction output (mainly the bridge section) reached nearly 19%, basically meeting the plan.

The main contract package for Dai Ngai 1 cable-stayed bridge is in the process of establishing technical design, expected to complete technical design in May 2024, and approve technical design in June 2024.

"The biggest difficulty of the project at present is the source of sand materials. Calculations show that the total demand for sand materials for the project is about 1 million m3," the Department of Construction Investment Management informed.

The Rach Mieu 2 Bridge Project is 17.6km long. The starting point is at Dong Tam Intersection (the intersection between National Highway 1 and Provincial Road 870) in Chau Thanh District, Tien Giang Province. The end point is at about Km16+660 of National Highway 60, about 0.71km from the northern abutment of Ham Luong Bridge in Ben Tre City, Ben Tre Province.

The scope of the project includes: Rach Mieu bridge section is 1.97km long (main cable-stayed bridge is 0.51km long) with a scale of 4 lanes; My Tho bridge is 0.45km long, balanced cantilever box girder with a scale of 4 lanes; the road section is 15.15km long, meeting level III delta standards with a scale of 4 lanes for motor vehicles and 2 lanes for mixed vehicles; design speed is 80km/h. The total investment of the project is more than 6,810 billion VND.

The Dai Ngai Bridge project has a total length of more than 15 km. The starting point is at the intersection of National Highway 54 (Hung Hoa Commune, Tieu Can District, Tra Vinh Province). The ending point is at the intersection of Nam Song Hau National Highway (Long Duc Commune, Long Phu District, Soc Trang Province).

The project includes 2 main bridges fully invested with 4 lanes.

Of which, Dai Ngai 1 bridge across Dinh An channel is more than 2.5 km long and 19 m wide. The main cable-stayed bridge has 2 towers 110 m high (from the bridge deck), main span 450 m, the second largest in Vietnam, after Can Tho bridge and equal to Vam Cong bridge.

Dai Ngai 2 Bridge is 862 m long, balanced cantilever over Tran De channel, bridge surface is 17.5 m wide.

The approach roads on both sides of the bridge are invested in phase 1, 12 m wide, 2 lanes, design speed 80 km/h, later will be completed with 4 lanes.
