(Fatherland) - Emphasizing that Hue city was established with the core mission of preserving and promoting the unique values ​​of the ancient capital and the tangible cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO, delegate Nguyen Hai Anh hopes that the locality will have solutions to elevate and develop the tourism industry to a new position so that Hue city will become one of the major and unique centers of the country and Southeast Asia in terms of culture and tourism.

Recently, at the 8th session, with a very high approval rate (95.62%), the National Assembly officially passed the Resolution on the establishment of Hue City under the Central Government. The Resolution takes effect from January 1, 2025. This is considered an important driving force for Hue to continue to preserve and promote the value of the ancient capital's heritage and Hue's cultural identity; actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the Central region and the whole country.

Harmoniously solving the problem of conservation and development

Specifically, the province has built an urban model in the direction of heritage urban areas, ecology, and environmentally friendly landscapes; formed and developed cultural and tourism centers, multi-disciplinary and multi-field education and training centers, and specialized medical centers in the region and the whole country.

Note that Hue is a locality located in a key disaster area of ​​the country. Faced with the increasingly complex and unpredictable impacts of climate change, Hue city needs to pay special attention to integrating disaster prevention and climate change adaptation into Hue's development strategy, into local socio-economic development plans, building a safe community, adapting to climate change, and being ready for all situations.
