Where to study Automation?

If you want to study abroad in Automation, which country should you choose and what is the route?

I am in grade 12 and want to study abroad in Automation. I plan to take the entrance exam for this major at Hanoi University of Science and Technology and then study abroad, but I don't know if this is the best option.

If I follow this plan, how many years do I have to study before I can study abroad and which country should I study abroad? Besides this major, can I study abroad in any other major? I can communicate well and read scientific documents in English.
