On the morning of October 8 , the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Dong Trieu town, term XXV, held the 41st Conference to evaluate the situation and results of work in the first 9 months of 2024, and deploy directions and tasks for the last 3 months of the year. Attending and directing the conference was comrade Nguyen Duc Thanh, member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee.
In the first 9 months of 2024, closely following the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and local realities, the Town Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee focused on leading and directing the comprehensive implementation of political, economic, cultural, and social tasks in the town and achieved many important results . In particular, The work of building the Party and the political system has been promoted, with many innovations and improved efficiency; in ideological work, we have proactively grasped and oriented public opinion, stabilized the situation; inspection and supervision work has been strengthened ; mass mobilization work has been effectively carried out . Economy The town continues to maintain stable growth. The total production value in the town at 2010 comparative prices reached over 27,000 billion VND, an increase of 13.6% over the same period . The total budget revenue in the area reached over 1,600 billion VND, equal to 73.4% of the estimate; the progress of land use fee collection and tax, fee and charge collection is among the localities with a higher collection rate than the average of the whole province . Administrative reform, improvement of the investment and business environment , state management in all fields, urban embellishment, and social security policies are of interest and direction . Complete the procedures under the authority of the town for 2 key projects in 2024 , including : Project to establish 4 wards and establish Dong Trieu city and Project to arrange commune-level administrative units for the period 2023 - 2025 . National defense and security are maintained, social order and safety are ensured, and there is no passivity or surprise .
At the conference, delegates spent a lot of time discussing, evaluating and clarifying contents related to the implementation of policies to support people affected by storms in housing and production recovery; removing some difficulties and obstacles of businesses in the area; solutions to increase the rate of households using clean water ...
Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Duc Thanh, member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, proposed focus on reviewing indicators, criteria, and tasks of the Resolution of the Party Congress of the town and communes and wards for the term 2020 - 2025 in conjunction with resolutions of higher levels; focus on implementing the plan of the Party Congresses at all levels, focusing on preparing documents to ensure quality, correctly assessing the implementation results, and forecasting the situation well; setting out goals, tasks, and breakthrough solutions in the coming time ; reviewing the implementation of inspection, supervision, audit, and audit conclusions within 10 years. Dong Trieu needs to prepare well the work content for the Ceremony to announce the establishment of the city to ensure practicality, suitability, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere and truly a festival for all people .
He noted that Dong Trieu needs to continue to focus on overcoming the damage caused by storm No. 3, including paying attention to implementing support policies for people; transforming the structure of crops and livestock; coordinating to resolve difficulties and obstacles for businesses; paying attention to dike work; strengthening state management in all fields, especially in the fields of land, mineral resources, environment, administrative reform, ensuring security and order in the area. At the same time, continue to do a good job of mass mobilization work combined with propaganda and education work to raise people's awareness , promote the role of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations from the town to the grassroots level to effectively implement the provisions on the law on democracy at the grassroots level .
