Specifically, by 2025, 70% of press agencies will post content on digital platforms (prioritizing domestic digital platforms) and 50% of press agencies will use centralized data analysis and processing platforms, applying artificial intelligence to optimize operations. 100% of electronic press agencies will have solutions to ensure information system safety and security at level 3 or higher.
80% of press agencies operate a converged newsroom model, in line with the development of advanced science and technology in the world, producing content according to digital journalism trends. 100% of leaders, staff, reporters, and editors are trained and fostered in knowledge and skills about digital journalism transformation.
100% of universities specializing in journalism or having a journalism faculty update knowledge and skills in digital journalism environment in their training programs for students.
Measuring the maturity of digital transformation of newspapers
To effectively organize this action plan, the Ministry of Information and Communications requires units under the Ministry to deploy tasks to promote growth in indicators and targets by 2025. Periodically measure and provide data on strategic indicators under the responsibility of the unit to the Press Department.
Implement the principles of "proactiveness, timeliness" and "international comparison" as prescribed in Decision No. 200/QD-BTTTT dated February 17, 2023 of the Minister of Information and Communications promulgating the Regulation on the management of the implementation of the development strategy of the information and communication fields issued for the period 2020 - 2025, with a vision to 2030.
