Captain Que Ngoc Hai, on behalf of his teammates, congratulated and expressed gratitude to Coach Philippe Troussier before presenting the team's gift. Coach Troussier accepted his student's kindness and took a souvenir photo. The gratitude session was quick, and the players immediately entered the final training session before the match with the Iraqi team.

The players split into small groups to warm up with the ball. The media was only allowed to cover the event for 15 minutes while the team entered the closed practice session.

After the match with the Philippines, Coach Troussier was strict in his approach to the media. Except for today's session, which was open to the public in accordance with AFC regulations, the rest of the sessions were closed to the public.

The Vietnamese team focused on practicing all aspects of the important match at home. Before this match, the French coach affirmed that the Vietnamese team was the underdog compared to the Iraqi team. However, that was an advantage for the players to play with determination, trying to create a surprise and prove the above assessment wrong.

" The Vietnamese team has three advantages in the upcoming match. We just started the qualifying round with a victory over the Philippines. The team will play at home and the players are determined to create a surprise. If we can take advantage of this and strictly follow the tactical plan, I believe the team can achieve positive results ," the French coach shared.

Coach Troussier confirmed that the team is ready for the match against Iraq. He also hopes that fans will fill My Dinh Stadium to give the players more motivation.

My Dinh Stadium is now ready for the match tomorrow night, November 21. The grass is in good condition after a period of care. The stands are cleaned. The walkways in the stadium are also cleared to welcome the audience.
