As the time to attend the World Cup is getting shorter and shorter, coach Mai Duc Chung always ensures a regular training schedule for his players.
Before leaving for home, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team returned to the training ground to maintain their best training and competition condition for the upcoming biggest women's football tournament on the planet.
In this training session, the weather was relatively hot but the players still tried their best to complete the endurance and coordination exercises set out by the coaching staff.
In an interview with the press before the training session, goalkeeper Kim Thanh shared that facing the world's top opponents like the German team will be an opportunity for this female goalkeeper to learn a lot of experience and increase her confidence when entering the 2023 Women's World Cup.

Midfielder Thanh Nha, who excellently scored the consolation goal for the Vietnamese women's team, shared her joy, honor and happiness.
She emphasized that the goal was not only hers but also the effort of the whole team. According to Thanh Nha, there are still certain differences between the Vietnamese and German teams, but that did not cause coach Mai Duc Chung's students to give up. The whole team tried and played their best.
Speaking to the press, coach Mai Duc Chung affirmed that the confidence of the Vietnamese female players, their physical strength and courage have been improved.
Matches with high-level opponents like the German team help the Vietnamese women's team gain valuable experience. The Vietnamese women's football coach also always reminds his students to constantly learn from the strengths of their opponents.
Currently, the team is missing Huynh Nhu and Chuong Thi Kieu is injured. Coach Mai Duc Chung expressed his hope that Chuong Thi Kieu will recover soon to compete with the team at the 2023 World Cup. Regarding Huynh Nhu, when she returns to Vietnam, Nhu will practice and compete with her teammates and is expected to shine.
