On the afternoon of October 16, Thanh Hoa Club held a ceremony to launch the 2023-2024 season. Leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province attended the ceremony.
Thanh Hoa team starts the 2023 - 2024 season
At the ceremony, Mr. Cao Tien Doan, Chairman of Thanh Hoa Club, said that the team's goal in the 2023-2024 season is to be in the top of the V-League and win the right to compete in the National Cup final.
Mr. Doan added that in the 2023 season, Thanh Hoa team achieved an unprecedented achievement when they were undefeated in all away matches. Moreover, in the 2023 season, Thanh Hoa team also had very good results, playing 20 matches, of which they won 8, drew 7 and lost 5. The whole season, they scored 27 goals, won 31 points, and ranked 4th overall.

On behalf of Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF), Mr. Nguyen Minh Ngoc - General Director of VPF congratulated Thanh Hoa on a successful 2023 season with a double title and a top 4 finish in the V-League. Mr. Nguyen Minh Ngoc said: “With the achievements, Thanh Hoa shows the right development direction of the team's leadership along with the strength and determination of the team. This is a team with its own identity, recognizing the attention and direction of the provincial leaders, the support of the locality and the enthusiasm of the audience. With many advantages of the team as well as careful preparation and investment in personnel, Thanh Hoa will achieve high results this season".
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dau Thanh Tung, Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, praised Thanh Hoa team for winning many titles in 2023. At the same time, he asked Thanh Hoa Club to continue to promote its achievements, compete wholeheartedly and contribute in the 2023 - 2024 season.
Leaders of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee presented flowers to congratulate representatives of Thanh Hoa team.
Mr. Tung also requested the Thanh Hoa team's coaching staff to take advantage of the potential of quality coaches and players to build a team with reasonable tactics, creative, enthusiastic, resilient playing style, with strong identity, to achieve high results.
Regarding youth training, Mr. Tung asked Thanh Hoa Club to pay more attention to achieving high results in youth tournaments.
According to the V-League 2023 - 2024 schedule, Thanh Hoa team will have the opening match of the season when hosting Hong Linh Ha Tinh at home on the afternoon of October 21.
