According to the latest data, in the first 9 months of 2024, the livestock industry maintained its growth rate. It is estimated that the total number of pigs nationwide increased by 2.5%; the total number of poultry increased by 2.2%; the total number of cows decreased by 0.4%; the total number of buffaloes decreased by 3.6%; livestock product exports reached 376 million USD, up 3.8%; imports of animal feed and raw materials decreased by 3.7% over the same period last year, making an important contribution to the growth of Vietnam's agricultural sector.

Furthermore, traditional livestock and aquaculture activities are also contributing significantly to greenhouse gas emissions in Vietnam. Therefore, the transition to a green livestock model is not only an urgent requirement but also the only way for the industry to develop sustainably.

With the theme of “transforming livestock farming for higher productivity, better nutrition, cleaner green environment & better life”, Vietstock 2024 and Aquaculture Vietnam 2024 not only provide opportunities to display and introduce advanced products and technologies in the livestock sector, but also create favorable conditions for businesses, researchers and experts in the industry to exchange, learn, share experiences, and discuss and solve “hot” topics of the industry through seminars.

Vietstock 2024 and Aquaculture Vietnam 2024 are expected to bring together more than 13,000 experts, leaders, veterinarians, livestock farmers, and farm owners from all over Vietnam and the world, working together towards the goal of promoting sustainable livestock development.

This series of events takes place from October 9, 2024 to October 11, 2024 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

On the same day, October 9, the Vietstock organizing committee also opened the leading food and beverage ingredients exhibition in Vietnam (Fi Vietnam 2024). Fi Vietnam cooperates with experts and leaders in the food and beverage industry to bring seminars on the latest trends in this field.
