Explosive revenue, new heights in the "People × Cars × Homes" ecosystem

(NADS) - 2024 marks an important turning point for Xiaomi as revenue reaches a record high of 50.62 billion USD, up 35% compared to 2023. The fourth quarter of 2024 is a highlight with revenue surpassing 13.84 billion USD for the first time, the highest ever. Adjusted net profit for the whole year reached 3.76 billion USD, up 41.3%, with the fourth quarter alone reaching 1.15 billion USD, up 69.4% over the same period.

Smart ecosystem "People × Cars × Homes"

Xiaomi's remarkable success over the past year cannot be attributed to its strategy of building and developing a smart ecosystem of "People × Cars × Homes". This ecosystem has become the core foundation for strong growth in revenue and profit, making Xiaomi a leading brand in many technology fields.

In the smartphone sector, Xiaomi continued to affirm its solid position in the top 3 global brands with revenue reaching 26.54 billion USD, up 21.8%. Total smartphone shipments reached an impressive 168.5 million units, contributing strongly to the overall results of the industry.

Smart electric vehicles were also an important milestone last year when the Xiaomi SU7 Series quickly captured the market with more than 136,000 vehicles delivered in just the first 9 months, generating revenue of up to 4.54 billion USD.

Not only stopping at personal technology products, Xiaomi also achieved great success in the smart home appliance and IoT segment, with revenue of 14.4 billion USD, a growth of 30%. In particular, products such as air conditioners, refrigerators and washing machines all recorded the highest consumption ever.

Entering 2025, Xiaomi continues to raise its position with a strategy of developing high-end products, notably the Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone model with sales growing 50% on the opening day.

At the same time, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra electric vehicle recorded more than 10,000 orders in just the first three days of its launch, completing the plan ahead of schedule. At the same time, Xiaomi introduced the high-end air conditioner Mijia Central Air Conditioner Pro, gradually affirming its market share in the field of high-end smart home appliances.

Xiaomi continues to develop artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, generating Internet service revenue of US$4.72 billion with an outstanding gross profit margin of 76.6%. The number of global monthly active users (MAU) exceeded 700 million for the first time. The new Xiaomi HyperOS 2 operating system, deeply integrating AI technology, has become an important platform for intelligent connection between products in the "People × Car × Home" ecosystem.

In addition, Xiaomi also focuses heavily on research and development (R&D), with an investment of up to 3.33 billion USD in 2024, an increase of 25.9% compared to the previous year. Currently, Xiaomi owns more than 42,000 patents, of which more than 1,000 patents are directly related to electric vehicle technology.

With outstanding results and a strategy focused on developing high-end products, Xiaomi is entering a promising new chapter, not only maintaining its leading position in the global technology industry, but also contributing to shaping the future of the world's technology industry.
