Founder and Chairman of the TH Group Strategy Council has designed to promote large-scale industrial dairy farming using high technology, creating livelihoods for local farmers, associated with sustainable poverty reduction. Policies are needed to encourage large-scale industry and bring farmers along with businesses . Participating in giving advice to the Government at the Conference of the Government Standing Committee with businesses on solutions to contribute to the country's socio-economic development, Hero of Labor Thai Huong, Founder and Chairman of the TH Group Strategy Council, expressed her hope that the Government will have mechanisms and policies to encourage large-scale industry, applying modern science and technology, combined with advanced management science, thereby creating products of international quality and high productivity... This experience is drawn from the story of TH, when the group started to implement large-scale industrial dairy farming using high technology in 2008.

According to businesswoman Thai Huong, TH's 15 years of experience shows that, although Vietnam's climate is not favorable for dairy farming, it is still possible to succeed by applying the achievements of science - technology and management science, thereby creating products that meet international standards, high productivity, and the most reasonable costs... Not only that, this also contributes to changing the production method from small-scale to modern, advanced production, applying artificial intelligence, Internet of Things... In 2008, the Vietnamese milk market had up to 92% imported powdered milk mixed again, called reconstituted milk, only 8% was fresh milk, with an average milk consumption of only 8-12 liters/person/year. But now, TH's participation has led and attracted other businesses to invest in the dairy farming industry. And thanks to that, Vietnam's milk consumption has increased to 25 liters/person/year, although it is still far behind the world. The proportion of liquid milk processed from fresh milk has also increased to approximately 60%, in which TH Group is leading, accounting for 45% of the market share. Sharing about TH's successes, Labor Hero Thai Huong also said that an important thing is that TH has also succeeded in turning farmers into a link in the value chain of production - goods according to international standards, turning them into high-tech agricultural workers, helping to sustainably reduce hunger and poverty, ensure social security in the locality, and move towards getting rich... "But doing agriculture does not mean only paying attention to farmers, it is necessary to attract a class of entrepreneurs with enough heart - mind - strength. Attract them with reasonable mechanisms and policies, so that they continue to bring farmers along, becoming a link in the value chain of the enterprise, like TH Group did with farmers in Nghia Dan, Nghe An", businesswoman Thai Huong "advised". In Nghia Dan, farmers grow green roughage for cows according to TH's technical instructions and TH guarantees the output. Many people are given jobs in their hometown, their children are fully educated, become managers, engineers and skilled workers, have a stable and truly happy life. Proposing to build a School Nutrition Law to improve the stature of Vietnamese people Not only giving advice to develop high-tech agriculture, at the Conference, Labor Hero Thai Huong also talked about her desire to improve the health, stature and height of Vietnamese people. According to her, in recent years, Vietnam has achieved many achievements in improving the nutritional status of its people, but many nutritional problems still exist, especially in preschool and school-age children. Currently, Vietnam is still in the group of countries and territories with low average height, ranking 15th from the bottom out of 201 countries and territories in the world. “I would like to thank the Prime Minister for his close guidance on school nutrition in the past. However, there is still a situation of chasing profits, disregarding everything to bring unsafe food into schools. Regulations on ensuring food safety and hygiene in schools are in place, but due to lack of strict supervision, it has led to many consequences, affecting the health and physical development of children,” businesswoman Thai Huong worried. According to Ms. Thai Huong, in many countries around the world, such as Japan, since 1954, there has been a School Nutrition Law, regulating nutritional standards and food safety management for school meals. 70 years later, the phrase "Japanese dwarf" no longer exists. Therefore, what makes Ms. Thai Huong concerned is how to provide children with the most standard source of nutrition and fresh milk in school meals, especially in the age group of 0-12 years old. Because according to the World Health Organization (WHO), about 86% of a person's height and physical development occurs by the age of 12. Therefore, investing in physical and mental strength for this golden age is extremely important so as not to miss out on valuable development opportunities in the life cycle. Over the years, TH has been a pioneer in implementing the National School Milk Program, taking the lead in building a model combined with research, product testing, and later accompanying the implementation of the "School Meal Point Model"..., aiming to improve the health and stature of Vietnamese children. However, to improve the health and stature of Vietnamese people, stronger policies are needed. Therefore, businesswoman Thai Huong has proposed building a separate law called the School Nutrition Law, based on the experience of successful countries, including Japan. In addition to the two proposals mentioned above, speaking at the Conference, businesswoman Thai Huong also "offered advice" so that Vietnam could effectively exploit "golden forests, silver seas", develop forest economy in some localities...
