It is known that the Yen Ancestor Worship House was built by Mr. Le Van Thanh and Mrs. Pham Thi Phuong Dung and completed in 2023. This is a unique religious architectural work worshiping the founder of the profession of exploiting and luring bird's nests and the gods protecting the bird's nest profession.

The death anniversary of the bird's nest industry is an activity that has been held in other localities for many years to express gratitude for the contributions of predecessors who have pioneered, guided and passed down the bird's nest profession, and built a sustainable bird's nest industry. In Dak Lak, this is the first time the ceremony has been held, and it is also an opportunity for bird's nest workers to burn incense to pay tribute to their predecessors and attend a bird's nest festival imbued with cultural identity. In addition, it is also an opportunity for businesses and households raising and exploiting bird's nests to meet, exchange, learn and share experiences.

Thanh Dung Company Limited started raising, exploiting and trading bird's nests in 2015. The company was honored to become the third company in Vietnam and the first company in Krong Pak district to officially export bird's nests to China. Up to now, Thanh Dung Company Limited has exported nearly 1.5 tons of official bird's nests to China.

Currently, Thanh Dung Company Limited is constantly expanding and developing further in terms of scale, market as well as bird's nest quality, the production facility is invested with modern equipment and facilities, meeting international standards. That is not only the pride of the company but also the pride of the bird's nest industry in Dak Lak province.

Dak Lak is a province with favorable climate and soil conditions, with rich vegetation and abundant and diverse insects. This is the main food source for swiftlets.

Therefore, from spontaneous and small-scale bird nest farming, the province now has about 1,500 bird nest houses with an estimated output of about 8-10 tons/year, ranking in the top 10 nationwide. With the establishment of the Dak Lak Bird Nest Association in July 2022, many value chains from raw material to processing and export orientation have been formed, such as Thanh Dung Bird Nest Company with a processing capacity of about 20 tons/year.

In 2022, the Protocol on exporting bird's nests between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the General Administration of Customs of China was signed. This is the legal basis and foundation for Vietnam to officially export bird's nest products to the Chinese market.
