This afternoon, May 15, in Tam Ky City, the People's Committee of Quang Nam Province organized the forum "Connecting investment and e-commerce on digital platforms". This is one of the events responding to the 5th Quang Nam Province Creative Startup Week - TechFest Quang Nam 2024 with the theme "Intellectual property and digital technology - Creative startup platform".

Attending the forum were representatives of the Department of Enterprise Development (Ministry of Planning and Investment), provincial departments and branches, along with many businesses, start-ups, and OCOP.

On behalf of the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Tan Van - Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, delivered the opening speech at the forum, saying that the forum "Connecting investment and e-commerce on digital platforms" was organized to equip businesses and startups with knowledge about developing modern distribution channels and skills to deploy e-commerce.

At the same time, grasp market information, build new sales strategies as well as improve investment connection capacity, e-commerce, access to promotion, product consumption on digital platforms, apply technology solutions to increase efficiency in production and business.

At the forum, the presentations and expert opinions emphasized that the development of science and technology, especially in the context of the 4th Industrial Revolution, has had a profound impact on all aspects of life and society. The application of digital technology, the construction of new distribution channels, etc. has become an effective business method for enterprises.

In particular, e-commerce has impacted and changed the way businesses interact with each other and between businesses and customers, contributing to overcoming barriers in international trade activities, helping businesses more easily expand their business markets, thereby creating momentum for the development of export activities in particular and the country's economy in general.
