Kinhtedothi - Youth Union chapters at all levels have mobilized funds to support the construction and repair of 868 temporary and dilapidated houses with 25,885 working days of youth union members participating, with a total support value of more than 14.8 billion VND.
According to information from the Youth Front Committee - Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, in the first week of Youth Month 2025, responding to the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025", the Youth Union at all levels mobilized funds to support the construction and repair of 868 houses with 25,885 working days of participating youth union members, with a total support value of more than 14.8 billion VND (reaching 64% of the registered target).
In addition, to concretize the Action Program of the Central Youth Union to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, Youth Union and Association chapters at all levels nationwide have maintained and deployed 4,650 new "Digital Education for the People" volunteer teams with young people as the core, organizing 4,366 activities to support training and popularize digital skills for 620,692 people (reaching 60% of the registered target).
The whole delegation also supported 648 areas with ethnic minorities with 36,524 ethnic minorities receiving support; carried out 7,428 volunteer activities to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas (achieving 44% of the registered target); 8,743 volunteer activities to protect the environment and respond to climate change (achieving 62% of the registered target); 3,362 volunteer activities to participate in ensuring traffic order and safety (achieving 43% of the registered target); 6,349 volunteer activities to participate in ensuring social security (achieving 35% of the registered target).
During the week, the Youth Union chapters at all levels implemented 5,958 youth projects at all levels (including 162 provincial youth projects; 712 district youth projects and 5,084 grassroots youth projects), with a total value of more than 84 billion VND.
At the same time, the Youth Union at all levels maintained and deployed 1,046 new "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful - Civilized - Safe" routes with the active participation of 64,195 union members and youth; implemented 303 km of "Lighting up village roads" projects, repaired 205 km of rural roads, repaired and built 56 new cultural houses, planted more than 660 thousand new trees; repaired and renewed 33 rural traffic bridges, organized 192 science and technology transfer activities for 21,582 union members and youth... with a total value of nearly 19 billion VND.
After 1 week of implementing the contents of Youth Month 2025, many targets have achieved high completion rates, typically targets related to the emulation movements "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" nationwide in 2025, the movement "Digital Education for All"... all reached over 60%.
"The activities attracted a large number of union members and young people to participate, the mobilized resources were of great value, and the right focus, key points, and difficult issues at the locality and unit were identified to organize the activities. That shows the initiative and creativity in organizing programs and activities of the Youth Union at all levels" - Head of the Youth Front Committee Nguyen Kim Quy said.
