Delegation of National Assembly deputies of Dien Bien province met with voters of Muong Ang district.

At the meeting, the representative of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation informed voters of the expected content of the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly. Accordingly, at this session, the National Assembly will consider and approve 9 draft laws, 2 draft resolutions, and give opinions on 8 draft laws; at the same time, consider and decide on socio-economic issues, the State budget, supervision and other important issues. The 9 draft laws to be considered and approved include: Land Law (amended); Law on Real Estate Business (amended); Housing Law (amended); Law on Water Resources (amended); Law on Telecommunications (amended); Law on Management and Protection of National Defense Works and Military Zones; Law on Forces Participating in Protecting Security and Order at the Grassroots Level; Law on Citizen Identification (amended); Law on Credit Institutions (amended). The 2 draft resolutions to be considered and approved include: Resolution on pilot application of investment support policies in the high-tech sector; Resolution on the application of additional corporate income tax according to the regulations against global tax base erosion. 8 draft laws were consulted, including: Law on Social Insurance (amended), Law on Archives (amended), Law on National Defense Industry, Security and Industrial Mobilization; Law on Roads; Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety; Law on Capital City (amended); Law on Organization of People's Courts (amended); Law on Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Property Auction.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Dat, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Muong Ang district proposed and made recommendations to the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

After listening to the announcement of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, voters of Muong Ang district participated in giving comments on the draft of the revised Land Law and the revised Water Resources Law. At the same time, they proposed and recommended many important issues, such as: Requesting the Ministry of Finance to promptly announce the career capital under the National Target Programs for the period of 2024 - 2025 to be proactive in planning and organizing implementation, considering and approving localities to proactively adjust the career funding source to implement project programs in the area. Raising the level of food support for short-term vocational trainees from 30,000 VND/person/day to 100,000 VND/person/day. Requesting the Ministry of Planning & Investment and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to pay attention to allocating capital to implement the rural electrification project, currently Muong Ang district still has 5 villages without electricity. Recommend to the Government to allow localities to use livestock breeds and goods and services directly produced by local people to implement projects in the National Target Program. Propose that the Government has policies to support students from near-poor households and boarding students in new rural communes; policies to support health insurance for ethnic minority students in mountainous areas, and policies to support managers and teachers at high schools with boarding students. The Government should consider policies to support allowances for some village, hamlet and residential group officials. Propose that the National Assembly soon put the Dien Bien - Son La expressway project into construction. Speed up the construction of the Spiritual Cultural Area in Muong Ang district. At the same time, propose that the Government continue to support policies for communes in mountainous areas and poor districts, even when they have reached or basically reached the new rural standards. Because according to regulations, communes that have met the new rural standards are not currently supported with some policies. Propose that the government has a policy to support coffee tree replanting for people; support the construction of 2 irrigation canals at Ang Cang Lake (with a length of 27km, costing about 300 billion VND) to supply water for over 1,000 hectares of coffee trees and 500 hectares of double-crop rice, in order to increase people's income...

Mr. Dinh Manh Ha, voter of residential group 7, Muong Ang town, made a recommendation to the National Assembly Delegation of Dien Bien province.

Based on the opinions and recommendations of voters, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation has acknowledged and highly appreciated the enthusiastic opinions of voters of Muong Ang district and directly answered a number of issues within its authority. At the same time, it has compiled the opinions and recommendations of voters and forwarded them to the National Assembly and responsible agencies for response and handling in the coming time.
