"Free phone" for candidates taking the 2024 high school graduation exam

On June 25, Ms. Ho Quy Nhi, Vice President of the Vietnam Student Association of Ca Mau province, said that the support force for the 2024 high school graduation exam season in Ca Mau is ready to perform its duties from June 26 to 29.

This year, Ca Mau has 17 examination sites, located in 8 districts and cities. At each examination site, there are volunteer teams consisting of union members and youths to support candidates, parents and other tasks related to the exam.

In particular, the exam support force has two models: "Free Phone" and "Keeping things for you" for exam candidates.

According to Ms. Nhi, at each testing location there will be a mobile phone for candidates to use when necessary.

"Candidates and their families can use this phone to call for pick-up or support with exam-related tasks," Nhi shared, adding that it is completely free for candidates.

This model has been implemented by the Ca Mau exam support force for the past 3 years. Ms. Nhi said that last year's exam, there was a case of a candidate oversleeping. When the exam time was near, the candidate called the "zero-dong phone" to ask for support. Immediately after that, the volunteer drove to the candidate's house to pick him up in time for the exam.

With the "Keeping things for candidates" model, according to Ms. Ho Quy Nhi, candidates who are not allowed to bring things into the exam room or do not have family members to keep them can leave them at the exam season support checkpoint.

Volunteers at the checkpoint receive the items that candidates send in, put them in boxes or bags, clearly labeling each item and their full names. After the exam, candidates can conveniently and safely retrieve their belongings.

"Maintaining these models helps candidates and their families feel secure in taking the high school graduation exam with the highest results," Ms. Nhi shared.
