After about 8 months of construction, the Thien Quang Lake flower garden project (Hai Ba Trung district) with a total investment of nearly 90 billion VND has been put into operation.
Thien Quang Lake (Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi) has an area of about 5 hectares, with 4 sides surrounded by Tran Nhan Tong, Quang Trung, Nguyen Du, and Tran Binh Trong streets.
On October 18, Hai Ba Trung District People's Committee organized a ceremony to post a plaque to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation Day of the Capital (October 10) for the Thien Quang Lake flower garden project. This is one of the very meaningful projects, maximizing the value of the architectural landscape system with trees, as well as promoting the cultural and historical values in the area.
The park project, Thien Quang lake flower garden connects with Thong Nhat park space, Tran Nhan Tong street walking space to create a complete whole.
Previously, on October 8, the project "Renovation and embellishment of space and landscape around Thien Quang Lake and vicinity" won the "Idea - For the love of Hanoi" category at the "Bui Xuan Phai - For the love of Hanoi" 2024 award ceremony.
The entire walking path around the lake is paved with natural stone. Regularly exercising at Thien Quang Lake, Mr. Ha Duc Phuc (61 years old, Hai Ba Trung district) happily said that after the renovation, this place will attract more people to come and have fun because of the fresh air and beautiful landscape.
Clean water system serving people is installed at Thien Quang lake park and flower garden.
The Youth Palace at 37 Tran Binh Trong is one of the buildings that was separated into a separate project for renovation, although it is located within the overall Thien Quang Lake area. To date, the renovation of the Youth Palace has been basically completed.
After renovation, Thien Quang lake area attracts people to take photos and check-in.
Previously, in 2018, Hanoi Drainage Company Limited released 12 swans (7 black and 5 white) into Thien Quang Lake. At first, the swans were allowed to swim freely in Thien Quang Lake. After that, the swans were kept in a cage in a corner of Thien Quang Lake (on Nguyen Du Street). Currently, the swans are no longer kept in Thien Quang Lake.
