Tien Hai Power Company is managing and operating 386.15km of medium voltage lines; 1,017km of 0.4kV lines; 2 intermediate stations, total capacity of 13,800kVA; 595 consuming transformer stations, total capacity of 255,543kVA.
Mr. Truong Hung Cuong, Director of Tien Hai Power Company, said: Investing in upgrading the power grid infrastructure is identified as a very important task, contributing to serving the development of production and daily life, especially in industrial zones and clusters in the district. In recent times, Tien Hai Power Company has focused on investing in the construction, upgrading and renovation of power grid works in the area, contributing to preventing overload, minimizing power loss, and improving the quality of electricity serving customers. In particular, Tien Hai Power Company has developed a detailed plan to provide safe and stable power for each area during the hot season, holidays and Tet. Organize inspections, reviews, and immediately correct existing problems and defects on the power grid, increase the number of on-duty forces 24/24 hours a day to be ready to handle incidents, arrange adequate human resources, spare materials, and means to be ready to handle electrical incidents as quickly as possible. Perform good customer care and free industrial cleaning such as: checking and fixing defects in the protection and lightning protection system; checking and maintaining dusty contact points, transformer casings and porcelain; clearing, weeding, and cleaning transformer stations. Organize to receive information about power outages from customers via the switchboard, quickly handle to restore power to customers as soon as possible, and at the same time make notifications according to regulations.
By the end of October 2024, Tien Hai Power Company has improved the reliability of medium voltage power supply according to the multi-split, multi-connection (MDMC) plan including 17 LBS, 1 24kV CDPT which have been installed and accepted. Implemented the project to prevent overload of medium and low voltage power grids at 22 stations; replaced over 74,000 electronic meters to collect data remotely; replaced 32 degraded power poles; replaced 23km of twisted cables of all kinds; renovated the branch power grid of Nam Thinh commune; major repairs to the low voltage line of Dong Minh commune...
Along with investing in grid infrastructure, Tien Hai Power also continues to work with major customers in the area to arrange production reasonably, adjust production hours during off-peak hours to both ensure electricity savings for customers and reduce the risk of local overload on the grid system as well as limit the situation of sudden increases in electricity bills.

Every year, the unit also innovates and invests in modern machinery to join hands with the electricity industry to carry out the electricity saving movement, contributing to reducing production costs for businesses. The lighting system is designed by the Company to maximize natural light and use LED bulbs instead of incandescent and fluorescent bulbs. Factories and offices are designed to be airy, equipped with equipment, machinery and air cooling systems using inverter technology to save electricity. Each year, the Company saves over 400 million VND in electricity bills, thereby contributing to stabilizing the business's production and increasing the competitiveness of the Company's products.
