Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power strives to produce 6,468 million kWh of electricity in 2024

In 2024, Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power Company will continue to promote Party building work; strive to achieve commercial electricity output of 6,468 million kWh, with revenue of VND 11,675 billion.

On the afternoon of December 13, Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power Company held a conference to summarize Party work in 2023 and a labor conference in 2024.

In 2023, the Party Committee of Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power Company will focus on leading and directing the implementation of political tasks and building a strong Party organization. The focus is to continue to effectively implement the Resolution of the 12th Central Committee, Session 4, on strengthening Party building and rectification; preventing and repelling the degradation of political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party, in conjunction with Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and lifestyle. Pay attention to directing the improvement of the quality of activities and quality of life of Party committees and Party cells, and directing the implementation of the Resolutions of the Group, the Corporation, and the Company to fulfill the political tasks of the unit.

The Party Committee of Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power Company currently has 132 party members, operating in 6 party cells. In November 2023, the Party Committee of the company had 8 probationary party members attending the new party member training class; sent 21 outstanding people to attend the Party awareness training class and admitted 11 outstanding people to the Party.

The conference is an opportunity for employees of Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power Company to express their thoughts, aspirations and propose solutions to improve operational efficiency in the coming time.

In 2023, Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant (Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power Company) operated under many difficult conditions, unit 1 had an incident and had to be stopped for repair (since September 2021) and was only put back into operation in August 2023. The fact that unit 1 was put into operation later than planned has greatly affected the implementation of the Plant's production and business targets for 2023.

In that situation, the Party Committee of the company focused on leading, directing, promptly resolving difficulties and obstacles, and implementing production and business tasks according to the plan assigned by the Corporation. Accordingly, well performing maintenance and repair work to ensure the highest availability for the unit; focusing on overhauling unit 1; continuing to focus on calibration testing, research on innovations and technical improvements to improve the efficiency of the units, in order to reduce coal/oil consumption, thereby increasing profits and price competitiveness in the market...

Every month and every quarter, the Party Executive Committee holds meetings, focusing on finding solutions to overcome difficulties; leading and directing the operation, maintenance and repair of the factory, ensuring the completion of assigned tasks.

In 2023, the total electricity output of the company is estimated to reach 4,573 million kWh of electricity (equal to 71% of the annual plan), total revenue is expected to be 8,932 billion VND (equal to 70% of the assigned plan), payment to the State budget is estimated to reach 107 billion VND (equal to 52% of the annual plan), cost reduction is 110 billion VND.

The company aims to achieve commercial electricity output of 6,468 million kWh, revenue of VND11,675 billion, and pay VND244 billion to the state budget.

Also this afternoon, Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power Company launched a movement to emulate typical advanced examples with the content: "Manage and operate Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant safely, stably and effectively; carry out the overhaul of unit 2 in 2024 to ensure safety, quality and on schedule".
