Information Technology has the highest standard score at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education with 29 points.
On the evening of June 30, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education announced the benchmark scores for early admission methods, including: Priority admission; Admission based on high school transcripts (average score of 5 semesters according to the combination, excluding semester II of grade 12); Admission based on competency assessment test scores; Admission based on SAT standardized test scores.

Information Technology (high quality study in Vietnamese) has the highest standard score of 29 points. If not in the priority categories, candidates must have an average score of each subject above 9.6 to be admitted.
With the priority method of considering national excellent students or excellent students from specialized schools, top 200 schools and SAT score method, the general Information Technology major leads in standard score with 26.75.
Meanwhile, in the method of considering the competency assessment test scores organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University (converted to a 30-point scale), the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence major has the highest benchmark score of 24.25 points.
This year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education will enroll about 6,500 students, with 5 admission methods. Of which, the school reserves 50% of its quota for early admission methods, and 50% for admission based on 2023 high school graduation exam scores.
Last year, the school's graduation exam scores ranged from 17 to 26.75, with the highest being in Information Technology.
