The admission score based on the high school transcript review method of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) is 18, equal to the admission floor.
On April 1, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance announced the first round of admission scores based on high school transcript scores for 36 training majors.
18 is the common benchmark For all majors, based on a combination of 3 grade 12 subjects or the average score of 3 semesters (grade 11 and semester I grade 12).

The school said it will accept applications for the second round of high school transcripts from April 1 to May 31. The minimum score for admission is still 18, based on a combination of three grade 12 subjects or the average score of three semesters.
According to university admission regulations, candidates who are admitted early to schools must still register their wishes on the common system of the Ministry of Education and Training, and can only be admitted to one highest wish.
In 2023, according to statistics from the Ministry, of more than half a million university graduates, 30.24% were admitted by considering their transcripts, second only to considering high school graduation exam scores (49.5%).

This year, UEF will recruit 6,610 students with four methods, including: considering the 2024 high school graduation exam scores (25% of the target), considering the academic transcript scores (70%), considering the 2024 capacity assessment test scores of Ho Chi Minh City National University (5%).
The admission threshold based on UEF's graduation score in 2023 ranges from 16-21, highest in International Business and International Relations.
