During a routine health check-up, a patient with breast and thyroid cancer, born in 1976 in Cam Khe - Phu Tho, was cured by doctors at the Oncology Center - Phu Tho General Hospital using two specialized techniques: burning thyroid tumors with high-frequency waves and VABB vacuum breast tumor aspiration.
Recently, Ms. HTT (48 years old in Cam Khe, Phu Tho) always felt choking, difficulty swallowing, hoarseness, occasional mild chest pain, fatigue, shortness of breath, and pain in the left breast, so she went to Phu Tho Provincial General Hospital for examination.

Through examination and paraclinical tests, thyroid ultrasound showed multiple nodules in both thyroid lobes, the largest size being 1.3 x 1.8 cm (TIRADS 3); breast ultrasound showed: the left breast had several large cysts measuring 3.7 x 2.6 cm (BIRADS 2), the right breast had several large cysts measuring 0.9 x 0.5 cm (BIRADS 2). The patient was diagnosed with: bilateral thyroid tumors, bilateral breast cysts.
Patient T said that about 3 years ago, he went for a health check and discovered he had thyroid nodules and cysts on both breasts, but they were small in size so he did not receive any treatment.
Currently, the patient was prescribed by doctors to have high-frequency radio wave ablation of the thyroid tumor under ultrasound guidance and VABB vacuum breast aspiration. These are two specialized techniques that have been routinely performed at Phu Tho General Hospital.
One day after thyroid ablation, the patient continued to undergo breast vacuum aspiration. Immediately after performing the two procedures, the patient was able to talk, eat, walk normally and was discharged the next day.
During the process of performing these two techniques, the patient does not need anesthesia but only numbs the treatment area, so it is very safe and does not leave scars.
How to self-examine your thyroid at home?
