Today (June 19), the Prime Minister has just decided to appoint the deputy director of Ho Chi Minh City National University.
According to Decision No. 536/QD-TTg dated June 19, the Prime Minister decided to appoint Mr. Tran Cao Vinh, Chairman of the University Council of the University of Natural Sciences (Ho Chi Minh City National University), to hold the position of Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City National University. The term of appointment is 5 years.
Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Cao Vinh was born in 1972 in Tra Vinh. Mr. Vinh graduated with a bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctorate from the Faculty of Physics - Technical Physics , University of Science (Ho Chi Minh City National University).
Before this decision, Mr. Vinh was appointed as Vice Principal (2018) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the University of Science (2020).
Previously, on June 13, the Prime Minister had just decided to appoint Professor Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai as Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City National University. Just over a week later, this university continued to have a new Vice President.
So far, the Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh City National University has: Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Hai Quan holding the position of Director and 3 Deputy Directors including: Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Minh Tam, Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai and Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Cao Vinh.
