Visiting President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House in Truong Sa

(NADS) - In May, when our entire nation is looking forward to celebrating the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024), we had the opportunity to visit the cadres, soldiers and people of Truong Sa town (Truong Sa district, Khanh Hoa province), and were fortunate to visit him at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House in Truong Sa.

In the memorial house is a bronze statue weighing nearly 1 ton, depicting Uncle Ho sitting on a chair; above is the Party flag, the national flag and the words "Nothing is more precious than Independence - Freedom".

In front, on both sides of the altar, there are display cabinets with pictures about the life, career of President Ho Chi Minh; his years of revolutionary activities through revolutionary periods; images of Uncle Ho with his homeland Nghe An, with the Navy soldiers and leaders, people of all walks of life...

This is a solid spiritual support for cadres, soldiers and people; at the same time, it is a red address to educate revolutionary ideals and traditions for the people on the island. Every year, the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House welcomes about 4,000 visitors, including international visitors and many fishermen in the area who regularly visit the memorial house, thereby deepening their awareness of protecting the sovereignty and sacred islands of the Fatherland.

This is also a place for political and ideological activities, a red address for educating the traditions of the army and people on the island. Helping everyone to be more deeply aware of their responsibilities, to voluntarily study, practice, and follow the example of the great President Ho Chi Minh. So that every cadre, soldier, and person on the island is always steadfast before the sea and storms, striving to complete the task of economic development associated with ensuring national defense, security, and firmly protecting the homeland's sea and islands.
