‏DIFF 2024 Fourth Night: The magical "fairy world" of 2 Chinese teams

With the theme “Made of Fairy Tales”, the two teams of Finland and China led more than 10,000 spectators into a magical fairy tale world with an elaborate fireworks display spectacularly displayed in the night sky of Da Nang.

The fireworks display by Liuyang Jingduan New-art Display Co., China opened with the performance "Wind and Rain" showing the rich cultural features of China, sending a warm greeting to the audience.

Starting out as a leading enterprise in the fireworks display equipment manufacturing industry in Liuyang Province (China), Liuyang Jingduan New-art Display Co. has ventured into the performance industry, quickly affirming its name with many international awards in Russia, Thailand, and China.

‏Coming to DIFF for the first time, the Chinese team brought a performance called “Summer Song” which was completely designed with lighting materials full of artistic inspiration “traditional hand embroidery”, weaving magical colors of the great country of China with many breathtakingly beautiful scenes.

With 4,000 fireworks of many types and different from other competing teams, the Chinese team specially used 3-4-5 inch fireworks and single fireworks to paint the sky of Da Nang a magical picture of light, with many impressive shapes and effects.

The music is rich in Chinese colors with 4 pieces of music that perfectly match the 4 parts of the 20-minute fireworks display, taking visitors on a journey to discover the magical beauty of the landscape and the unique culture of the country of a billion people.

‏In contrast to the romantic, ethereal atmosphere of China, the Joho Pyro Professional Fireworks AB team - Finland brought to DIFF the theme "A Million Dreams" taking the audience into the fairytale space of a full moon night, listening to the folk story of Cuoi - Hang which has become a childhood memory of many people... And immersing in the magical world of "Beauty and the Beast" - a soundtrack song in Disney's immortal animated films.

Immediately after that, the mashup (combining musical pieces) "No one else but you - I can't escape" painted a beautiful winter in Finland, with colorful wooden villages, thick white snow and majestic natural scenery, taking visitors into a magical fairy world.

In that dream world, the Joho Pyro Professional Fireworks AB team "burned" the night of Han River - Da Nang with an outstanding fireworks display with more than 10,000 fireworks of all colors and a unique combination of fireworks and water, with continuously changing effects that were captivating.

Having won the DIFF 2019 championship, the Warsaw International Fireworks Festival 2015, and the Montreal International Fireworks Competition 2023, Joho Pyro team continues to affirm their superior strength in this performance and become one of the strong contenders to advance to the DIFF 2024 final.

‏The performance of the Finnish team also concluded the final competition night of the DIFF 2024 qualifying round. On the morning of June 30, the organizing committee will announce the identities of the two best fireworks teams that will enter the final night taking place at 8:10 p.m. on July 13.
