Accordingly, teacher Tran Thi Bich Chau, head of the literature group at Mac Dinh Chi High School, represented the school's professional group and said that this is a periodic test conducted by class unit, the test questions are compiled by subject teachers according to the consensus of the professional group.
Specifically, the requirements for the topic: Write an argumentative text discussing an issue (a phenomenon in life or an issue related to young people); The topic does not use language materials; Time limit: 45 minutes; Ensure the content of the 10th grade literature program (volume 1 - Creative horizons) of the lesson "Writing an argumentative text about a social issue" writing part (lesson 2/ page 54) and the type of essay using arguments and evidence to discuss and clarify a social issue.
The head of the literature group at Mac Dinh Chi High School also explained the required time to complete the test of 45 minutes. Ms. Chau said: "Students have been instructed to recognize the requirements of a social argumentative essay on a social issue. Students have been instructed to practice applying argumentative operations in writing appropriate to the required time. Students have been instructed to express themselves concisely, present clearly; have appropriate arguments and evidence according to the requirements of the topic."
