Regarding the Math exam, the 2023 High School Graduation Exam, Master Nguyen Viet Dung, Math teacher, Dao Duy Tu High School (Thanh Hoa City) said: In general, the exam closely follows the structure according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training. The knowledge of the exam is mainly in the 12th grade textbook program, not challenging candidates, but has a very deep differentiation.

"Therefore, I think this exam ensures two goals of the exam: ensuring graduation for the majority of candidates and selecting good candidates for colleges and universities," shared Master Nguyen Viet Dung.
Analyzing further, Master Nguyen Viet Dung said that with this test, it is not difficult for candidates with average academic ability to get a score of 5 - 7. However, to get a score above 7 is a problem for candidates.
From 7 to 8 points, the test requires candidates to have a solid grasp of basic knowledge and good thinking ability. As for the last 4 questions of the test, candidates must be good students, have a solid grasp of basic knowledge and good thinking ability, and be creative to be able to solve the requirements.

“In addition, this year’s exam has 5 pages, 1 page shorter than last year’s, so the knowledge is more focused. Some spatial geometry problems without pre-printed images also require candidates to have drawing skills to solve problems according to the requirements of the exam. This is also a way to evaluate and classify candidates’ abilities that the exam has done,” added Master Nguyen Viet Dung.
According to Master Dung, with the Math exam, the average score of students in Thanh Hoa City will fluctuate from 7 to 8.
Also commenting on this exam, teacher Tran Doan Truong, Math teacher at Quan Hoa High School (Quan Hoa district), shared: The exam closely follows the structure of the exam as instructed by the Ministry of Education and Training and has high classification, ensuring both graduation and college and university admission.
"For students in mountainous areas, the average score range of the Math exam mostly ranges from 4.6 to 5.6 points," said teacher Truong.
Tomorrow (June 29), the 2023 High School Graduation Exam continues with the combined subjects of natural sciences and social sciences and Foreign Languages.
