De Heus Vietnam imports a batch of world-leading Topigs Norsvin boars

This batch of boars imported to Vietnam includes many superior breeds, but the most prominent are the carefully selected TN Duroc and TN Tempo boars, aiming to bring generations of breeding pigs with outstanding characteristics such as fast growth ability, good feed conversion ratio and high adaptability to the farming environment in Vietnam.

The boars are then imported to the GenCen pig breeding center from the nucleus farms in Dombras and Brouennes, France - where De Heus feed is used to feed top pig lines.

Recently, De Heus Vietnam continued to import a batch of male breeding pigs from Topigs Norsvin Group to Vietnam.

Every shipment, every small step is aimed at a big goal: De Heus constantly strives to improve the Vietnamese livestock industry, bringing high efficiency and sustainable profits to farmers.

It is known that the Gencen pig semen center of De Heus Vietnam has an area of ​​nearly 29,000m2, of which the breeding area occupies 1,004m2 with 4 rows of barns, 4 semen exploitation cells and a mixing room. The equipment system at the center is invested in modernly, imported directly from the Netherlands according to international standards. This center was established in 2015 in Tan Uyen district ( Binh Duong province).

In addition to the ability to grow quickly and have a good feed conversion ratio, Topigs Norsvin Duroc and Topigs Norsvin Tempo boars are also highly adaptable to the farming environment in Vietnam.

In particular, the laboratory at Gencen Center is always directly supervised by a team of experienced experts from Spain along with advanced equipment for preserving pig semen and measuring sperm density to help ensure the quality of the product is always in the best condition when distributed to the market.

Previously, in May 2024, De Heus Genetics also imported a batch of boars of superior genetic generation from Topigs Norsvin Group (Canada) and brought them to Vietnam by private plane. This batch of pigs was brought to De Heus' Gencen center in Binh Duong and Dak Lak farm, after which the boars will be given special care in a modern farm environment. The pig semen will be tested under the direct supervision of experts and strictly tested for safety through PRRS, Mycoplasma, APP, ASF, and CSF diseases.

Every year, De Heus Genetics imports breeding pigs to Vietnam to ensure continuous improvement in genetic quality, contributing to creating high-quality breeding animals for farmers.
