Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh said that in recent years, Party diplomacy, State diplomacy and people-to-people diplomacy have achieved many positive achievements. In particular, parliamentary diplomacy, specifically the 15th National Assembly, has left good impressions, contributing to the overall success of Vietnam's foreign affairs. In addition, the role of friendship parliamentary groups, including the Vietnam - Korea Friendship Parliamentarians Group, has also been affirmed, making the results of parliamentary diplomacy more vivid and clear. The Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly suggested that in the coming time, the members of the Group continue to promote their intelligence, experience and enthusiasm, continue to be a bridge to actively contribute to further developing cooperation between the Vietnamese National Assembly and the Korean National Assembly, as well as people-to-people exchanges between the two countries. According to the report on the activities of the Vietnam-Korea Friendship Parliamentarians' Group, since the beginning of the 15th National Assembly's term, in the overall relationship between the two countries, the cooperation between the two National Assemblies has played an important role and achieved many positive results. The Group's activities have been actively and effectively implemented with many high-level contacts, diverse and rich forms, demonstrating the uniqueness of parliamentary diplomacy, flexibility and adaptability. Regarding the direction of activities in the coming time, the Vietnam-Korea Friendship Parliamentarians' Group will continue to coordinate with relevant agencies of Vietnam and Korea to organize holidays and activities to celebrate the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries; promote cooperation between the two countries in various fields; promote local cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries to enhance mutual trust and understanding... In the afternoon of the same day, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh received Korean Ambassador to Vietnam Choi Young Sam.
