In 2021, Mr. Vu Cong Pho, village 8, Kien Thanh commune, Dak R'lap district invested in building a 1,000m² greenhouse and irrigation system to produce melons. According to Mr. Pho, melons can be produced 4 times a year, each time harvesting 2.5 - 3 tons of fruit.

Mr. Pho said the initial investment cost is quite large, but the economic efficiency is stable and higher than other crops, in terms of time, care and investment cost.
The average profit per melon crop is from 40 million VND or more. "Applying technology helps me reduce a lot of care work," Mr. Pho shared.

Mr. Nho shared that he produces 4 crops of melons each year, profit depends on the market purchase price. On average, 1,000m² gives an income of 65 million VND/crop.

In recent times, farmers in Dak R'lap district have focused on applying CNC in agricultural production. The whole district currently has about 10 hectares of greenhouses and membrane houses for producing vegetables, tubers, and fruits, bringing high economic efficiency.
In addition, to adapt to climate change and increase production efficiency, farmers in the district have applied advanced irrigation systems, drip irrigation, to cultivation. Currently, the whole district has 8,879 hectares of land applying this irrigation method.
Farmers also promote the application of CNC in livestock farming, bringing about clear economic efficiency. Livestock farms are invested and upgraded in the direction of automation, closed, environmentally friendly, raising livestock according to organic models, VietGAP.
The district has introduced high-yield foreign pig breeds or crossbred them, accounting for 93% of the total pig herd. Many enterprises and cooperatives are interested in promoting the production of foreign pig breeds to supply the market.
The district currently has 34 pig farms. Some large-scale farms have applied CNC, aiming for automation, closed-loop, environmentally friendly and bringing high economic efficiency.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nen, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dak R'lap district, said that in recent years, Dak R'lap farmers have actively invested in building greenhouses, greenhouses and drip irrigation systems for agricultural production. Thanks to that, not only has agricultural economic efficiency been improved but the impact of climate change on crops has also been minimized.
With advantages and potential in agricultural production, along with policies to encourage the development of CNC production, the district has implemented instructions for people to produce in the direction of CNC, creating a clear change.
Thanks to the application of advanced technology, Dak R'lap farmers are gradually adapting to adverse weather conditions, ensuring sustainable production and increasing income.
Agricultural production models applying CNC, organic and circular agriculture in the area have brought high efficiency, product quality meets consumer needs and meets quality standards, adapting to climate change.

According to Mr. Nen, in the coming time, Dak R'lap district will continue to coordinate with communes and towns to organize training courses for farmers on CNC agricultural production techniques, ensuring food safety and hygiene.
The district promotes production processes according to GAP, VietGAP, organic; safe biological livestock farming, disease prevention, building QR codes to trace the origin of agricultural products and growing area codes.
Besides, the district focuses on attracting investment in the field of CNC agricultural production, building and developing enterprises and cooperatives operating in this field, aiming to build a CNC agricultural area of the district.
