Mr. Hoang Huu Phuoc (Deputy Head of the Faculty of Primary Education, University of Education, Hue University) also proposed that the Party and State have many mechanisms and policies to create favorable conditions for young scientists to develop their expertise. Invest more in the field of social sciences and humanities so that this field can contribute more to the development of the country.
Dr. Ly Viet Truong (Nung ethnic group, Institute of Vietnamese Studies and Development Sciences, Hanoi National University) said that doing science requires dedication, passion and overcoming difficulties. However, the living conditions of young scientists, especially those in ethnic minority areas, still face many difficulties.
Therefore, the Party and State have more support policies for young scientists and scientists from ethnic minorities; pay attention to the material and spiritual life of young scientists, so that they can feel secure in their scientific research.
Social sciences and humanities are soft power for national development.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan acknowledged and highly appreciated the initiative of the Central Youth Union in organizing the Khue Van Cac Award, because it is very practical, meaningful, close to the reality and wishes of the country in the current period.

At the same time, the Vice President expressed his impression of the achievements and aspirations of young scientists. Talking about the opportunities and challenges in the current context, the Vice President said that young scientists need to join hands to seize opportunities and overcome challenges to bring the country into a new era, "the era of national growth".
"The 13th National Party Congress sets the goal of turning Vietnam into a developing country with modern industry and high average income by 2030; and becoming a developed country with high income by 2045. Time is running out, it is time for us to create a strong momentum to realize the nation's aspirations," said Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan.
Affirming the important role of the social sciences and humanities, the Vice President said: "The country cannot develop sustainably without a healthy, good, and civilized social foundation. Social sciences and humanities are soft power for the country to develop quickly and sustainably. Young people need to understand the role and responsibility, and determine their mindset to enter this field more strongly and confidently," the Vice President said.
