State Management Training on Cryptography Work

Comrades: Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duy Bac, Permanent Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Major General Vu Ngoc Thiem, Head of the Government Cipher Committee co-chaired the signing ceremony. Also attending were leaders and officers of the functional agencies of the two units.

According to the Memorandum of Understanding, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics has made State management of cryptography an official subject taught in advanced political theory courses and other training and development subjects at the Academy system. The Government Cipher Committee implements activities of security, safety, network security, network security monitoring and digital signatures, digital certificates to serve the management, operation and work at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. The Department of Training Management (Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics) and the Department of Politics - Organization (Government Cipher Committee) are two standing agencies to research and advise on the implementation of the signed contents.

"Making the content of "State management of cryptography work" an official subject taught at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics is one of the activities to concretize Resolution 56 of the Politburo on "Strategy for the development of Vietnam's Cryptography industry to 2030, with a vision to 2045"; helping training subjects at the Academy grasp and understand better the contents of state management of cryptography; raising awareness of the importance of protecting state secrets and the role of cryptography forces; actively contributing to protecting national security, enhancing the sense of responsibility in complying with the law on cryptography. The Government Cryptography Committee will coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics in organizing the implementation of cryptographic products, solutions to ensure confidentiality and information security to serve the leadership, direction, administration, and handling of the Academy's work in a confidential, safe, accurate, and timely manner in the coming time", Major General Vu Ngoc Thiem said.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duy Bac highly appreciated the achievements of the Government Cipher Committee and the Vietnam Cipher sector over the past 78 years. Notably, it has absolutely ensured leadership, direction and command information for the leaders of the Party , State and armed forces . The fact that the Government Cipher Committee has advised the Party, State and Government to include the content of "State management of cipher work" in the curriculum of advanced political theory subjects and training and fostering of cadres is of great significance.

"The memorandum of understanding signed today marks a new milestone in the relationship of coordination, assistance and cooperation between the two units in the coming time. The Academy commits to seriously, fully and best implementing the contents related to the tasks of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics in the memorandum of understanding. At the same time, the Academy looks forward to receiving the cooperation of the Government Cipher Committee to best implement the memorandum of understanding between the two units", Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duy Bac affirmed.
